Guide to Holiday Decor

One of my favorite things about Christmas is decorating! Our apartment is small, but I’ve learned over the years of tiny city living that a little bit goes a long way. Plus, after January you have to think about storing all those decorations. Wouldn’t it be better if you bought items that blend in with what you already have and can last you from November 1 to at least February 1? After all, most of us need something cheery to look at when it’s a high of 17 degrees in January! I love the modern yet classic look of these items. Any of these would look great in a sprawling 3,000 sq ft home or a humble 600 sq ft apartment. It’s often difficult to come up with new present ideas for family, friends, and coworkers, so mix it up with holiday decor that your loved ones can use year after year. Enjoy the rest of your holiday shopping!

These holiday tips decorating are great and many can be bought locally at Kohl’s or Target or shipped to you. We have a big house, but are retired, and don’t like to change decorations too often. The taking out and putting away are taxing. I appreciate the suggestions!
